With plants asking impossible questions: like why?
Luciana Chammas
After the confused summer weather Impatiens is flowering but weak and small this year. It may grow stronger now that the rain has come but it looks frail and hesitant compared with usual.
But the bees are still keen to gather the pollen.
Good job that plenty was made here last year.
A few days of bright, clear weather with not a cloud in the sky: essence making in progress. These two pictures show the difference that 3 hours of sunshine make to the fresh, spring water in the bowl. It is always a great joy to watch. Here at Healing Herbs we add 50/50 of organic (Ecocert) brandy to complete the mother tincture or mother essence. Then to make ‘stock concentrate’ we drop 1 part of mother essence to 400 parts of the same organic brandy – it’s in every bottle that we sell. This stock concentrate can then be diluted again to make up dosage strength. A little goes a long way!
